I knew Joe Mather when he was 9 or 10 and a bat boy for our high school and Legion teams in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho that his dad coached. Even back then he could swing it lefty and righty. Could have been all the wiffle ball games. Anyone have any idea what his dad is up to?

Izturis looked terrible both in the field and at the plate. LaRussa said the other day that he thought Izturis was fine, but I hope they realize quickly that he is sunk cost and just write off that $2.85M, because he is no longer an MLB quality baseball player.

I get to see alot of memphis’s games on tv. I can’t wait to see a good memphis team for once. I don’t know how long they are going to be good because I think Rasmus, Mather, and Perez(If he doesn’t start there) will be called up soon. And I am Hopeing that Hoffpauir Makes it up there this season. Once they find out how bad Izturis realy is.

Joe Mather is a giant.

I need to make the trip to Memphis early this year before Rasmus gets promoted. The Memphis team should be considerably better and more interesting than last years.

Maybe it’s a perspective trick, but isn’t that only about half of Marti? A third? A quarter?
