Even more so after watching Carpenter clutching his shoulder last night. Hopefully it is nothing serious, but even missing a few starts is a big deal at this point in the season. I know TLR likes for rookies to "earn" a spot, but they can't earn anything if they aren't given the opportunity. I would like to see Perez or McClellan in that spot.
