He’s been old for his league every where he’s been. He may become a major leaguer but I’m not holding my breath. I think Gregerson, Dew are Salas are definitely better prospects. IF Perdomo wasn’t acquired for Reyes, he’d be an after thought given his age and level.

Perdomo could become a useful bullpen piece in the near future; probably not a relief ace, but a power arm with a very good slider (it is already a plus pitch if not a tick better) to chew up righthanded batters and questionable control.

Re the FB velocity: If he were a starter, Perdomo certainly wouldn’t sit at 94 mph. In his one-inning relief stints, that is where I have personally seen him sit.
