Arizona Fall League

Tyler Greene had a monster day at the plate, smacking three doubles. Very nice fall so far for Tyler, the former 1st round pick is hitting .323/.447/.645.
Shane Robinson went 2-5 with two RBIs and stole his fourth base of the season.
Steve Hill went 1-5 with a double and a walk as the team’s DH.
Adam Ottavino allowed two unearned runs on three hits in three innings. He struck out two.
Brad Furnish threw two innings, allowing just one hit.
Tyler Norrick was roughed up again – 1 IP, 2 H, 2 ER, 1 BB, 1 K, 1 HR.
Justin Fiske allowed no runs on a hit and two walks with three K’s over 1.2 innings. Box.

    Very small sample size noted, but I’m glad to see that Greene is actually talking a walk or two.

    Opening Day Shortstop? Not sold on it but that would be nice to see, the two first round picks from 05 starting opening day ;)

    has anyone noticed that greene is putting up his best numbers when he is playing second base?…could it be that he tends to take playing a demanding and extremely important position like shortstop to the plate with him, and that causes his to not have the same focus as when he plays second? i’m not saying that second isn’t important or demanding, but it’s not quite as difficult as SS imho…maybe greene relaxes more when he is at the keystone

    He’s only struck out six times so far in 31 at bats, that’s a little bit of improvement
