Whoa. Texas Tech. That was awesome. Definitely the college football game of the year, at least to date. Their fans may need to wait until the game is over to rush onto the field, though.

That, indeed, was one heck of a game at Texas Tech. Wow!
Getting back on topic, Tyler Greene continues to rake. Might he be the opening day SS next year with the big club???
Is Tyler Greene more suited to be a second baseman? I know they have him playing 3rd, 2nd, and Short, I know shortstop is his primary position, but maybe he could handle second.
From the reports I’ve read on Greene’s glove, he’s a solid SS. He has good range and a great arm, but his footwork can be a little erratic and he does make quite a few errors, particularly throwing errors. So yeah, 2B should be a fine position for him.
Everyone should remember that the AFL is a sub-AAA competition level. If Tyler Greene wasn’t doing this, it would be really bad news for his status in the org. The fact that he is hitting well statistically is, at best, holding par. Only the scouts watching the games know if this is a real improvement or he’s beating up on younger pitching.
It seems late in the season for Gregerson to be pitching 3 innings at a time given he’s up to about 50% more innings than last year. Sounds like he’s pitching really well though.
I’m PROBABLY going to have lunch or dinner with BA’s Kary Booher on Monday. He just got back from a week at the Arizona Fall League. Any questions you’d like me to ask him?
The obvious question would be “Tyler Greene?”
You can ask whether Wallace’s struggles can be blamed on hitting into bad luck or if he’s really slumping, and why is he struggling.
