After a nice respite following the 2008 season, we’re getting ready for the new year at FR. Things will start to pick up again as we pour over prospects and lists and trades and all sorts of other goodies.
To kick off the new year a little early, we’re going to be starting our prospect rankings on Monday. Since next week is Christmas, we’ll have posts on Monday and Tuesday and then finish up the rankings the following week Monday thru Wednesday.
The format will be a little different from last year. We’ll have one consolidated list with a blurb about the player. You’ll see the individual rankings of erik, roarke and myself but we’ll hash out our disagreements at a later date. Instead, we’ll provide you with a description of the player’s skills and what the future looks like for that player. There’s should be some surprises and we certainly had some disagreements but we’re looking forward to this process for the 2nd year.
So finish up your shopping (I still have 3-4 people to buy for!) and be sure to stop by Monday for the first set of prospects.

can the heading on the front page be reconfigured so that the list of affiliates are live links to those team sites? i know the links are on the side, but seems like on the header would be nice.

Any info on this Japanes lefty, Katsuhiko Maekawa, that was just signed? Is he just another arm to take a look at in camp?
