We don’t have any minor league games yet but the minor league press machines are starting up.  In place of a DFR, here’s a link dump for this morning.

• If you want to see any of the announced rosters for the minors, Brian Walton has done the legwork to make them easier to read and be critical of.
• Autozone Park ranked the No. 1 park in the minors by BA.
• Steve Batterson has a Daryl Jones profile.  Expect more of these if he has a big year.  Jones (or Brett Wallace) is liable to be the new poster child for the farm system.
• You’ve probably seen by now but Perdomo was cut by the Giants. I’ll have more on this if and when his exact fate is known.
• Ben Badler at BA likes the Todd’s move to the pen.  I wonder if he’s being considered as a closer candidate?  There’s been past comments on his bulldog mentality.   Pure speculation on my part though.
• Sam Freeman and Adam Ottavino profiles in the Springfield News-Leader.

PS – This isn’t a place to vent about last night’s game.  Those comments can be made at VEB or not at all.  They will get screened out.

PPS – There’s an exciting post in the works.  It’s a topic that I think is still controversial but it’s well written and should generate some interesting discussion.
