Top 5 Prospects: 1. Wallace 2. Jones 3. Crow 4. Anderson 5. Ottavino
Most Excited to See: All of the Cardinals’ minor league affiliates (excluding DSL and VSL) make the playoffs for the respective league, as all teams will finish above .500 and win their divisions.

I picked Ottavino and Descalso last year as breakout hitters, but I was disappointed. Both showed promise towards the end of the year last year, so I’m hoping I was just a season too early on my predictions.

After Wallace’s performance last night (4/5, 2 hr’s, 6 RBI’s) would any of you like to re-think your minor league player of the year?? Or are you assuming he’ll be up in the majors too long to win the award?

Game was delayed in springfield because of rain and 70 MPH winds. But wallace went deep with 4 RBI’s and jones doubled in the limited action.

This year I’m most excited to see: brett wallace destroy the ball , literally, destroy the cover off the ball and ottavino’s continued progress..could be the #1 starting pitching prospect if he gets it all together this year

Springfield Cards game is on CW11 here in the Springfield area. Can’t wait to see Wallace and Jones start of the season with a boom. The roughriders also feature Justin Smoak who should be fun to watch. Just wish it was in HD.
