Brian Barton. How is his defense? Is he struggling as much at the plate as his stats reflect, will he pull out of that pretty soon or will he swoon ?

Does Craig's bat work in the big leagues ?

Do you think if Freese were in Memphis and Craig with the mlb club their stats would be different? in other words would Craig be struggling with the bat in St. Louis and would Freese be comfortable and hitting in Memphis ?

How is Craig's defense currently?

Thanks AZ !

Regarding the above request for a report on Mather. I find several things interesting about his slump. One is that it came on so abruptly in spring training after a great start and has lasted into the regualr season at Memphis. The other is that, although he's only 2 for 26 he has only struck out 4 times. He struck out 16 times in ST which is high but I don't when those strikeouts came. I thought, after seeing him last year, that he would eventually have trouble with that long, looping swing and I'm wondering if they've tried to cut down on it to cut down on the strikeouts. If so he may be having trouble adjusting.

I'll throw out a name.....Katsuhiko Maekawa

Very interesting lefty for either the Redbirds' bullpen or rotation. Can strike'em out but also leaves the ball hanging out there for the hitter.

I would like to ask for Allen Craig (especially defensively) and Shane Robinson. Thanks!
