I find several things interesting about his slump. One is that it came on so abruptly in spring training after a great start and has lasted into the regualr season at Memphis. The other is that, although he's only 2 for 26 he has only struck out 4 times. He struck out 16 times in ST which is high but I don't when those strikeouts came. I thought, after seeing him last year, that he would eventually have trouble with that long, looping swing and I'm wondering if they've tried to cut down on it to cut down on the strikeouts.
