Great job guys!!! This ansewred a lot of questions for me. I am very excited about the prospects down there. I’ve heard Henley compared to Dykstra. Wouldn’t that be fun? Descalso and Samuel are also exciting. Good to see Hamilton come around.

With that last comment on WIlliams, I was wondering if anyone has heard anything more about Mitch Harris. Last I heard he was going to do some goodwill ambassador-type stuff in the Navy. Any chance he gets out early?

It took two or three articles before I gave the big thumbs up to Baker as a good candidate to fill Booher’s shoes. Gotta give respect to whoever the sports editor is at the News Leader, as well. That’s not a snarky jab, just observing that he’s brought in talented writers and their articles are nicely polished.

GREAT interview. I’m impressed with Baker. Clearly loves this beat.

I’m very psyched to see cruz (interesting comment on his defense) and samuel at ST next year. Look forward to Hill and Descalso and Henley getting invites too. The Springfield club is the most exciting one in the cardinals system right now.

I do think there’s a lot of impatience with Kozmanaut (and Niko) and the rate of development — it seems like a lot of prospects, especially HS prospects, just go through a lost year while their maturity or skills or whatever catches up to the level where they’re playing. It’s not the end of the world if you hit AAA at 22 instead of 21, or 23 instead of 22. I’m ready to see a guy struggle and mature, as long as he’s not pushed so far and so fast that it hurts his development.

I’ve fixed the content in the DFR, but I have no idea why the content and sidebars aren’t loading.

I’m running IE 6 at work with XP and have the same problem, but I can view the entire thing through Google reader as an RSS feed. Interesting.
