I’m really proud to see Alex Catellanos (casty) for shor excelling in what he loves to do. I personally met him and he is a great athlete and nice kid. Started a little slow but like anything else in life it’s the long run that counts. For a kid that just recently lost his only brother (per WhAt I’ve found out about him). He has shown he can even put sadness aside and still do what needs to be done to succed. Keep it going

glad to see tyler’s improvements continuing at the AAA level. something i forgot to ask — how many rookies get an RBI on their first ML walks? wasn’t tyler’s walk with the bases loaded the first one he got with the big club.

anyway, i think we’ll see tyler again in st. louis this year, and i hope he’s able to carry over this new-found on-base performance.

I’m getting a bit nervous about Walrus, who is arguably the one guy in the whole system that I most want to succeed. He didn’t appear in this summary, and looking at the box score, I see he went 0/5. Did anybody see the game? How does he look? Is anything coming out of the organization on what’s going on with him? He has been moved up VERY aggressively, and while I think that’s a good thing on balance, it would cease to be if his struggles of the moment start messing with his head.

I really hope Castellanos continues to put it together. I know he is small and he is from a very small school, but I really like his skill set from reading about him. Seems like he has a little pop and some speed. His size makes me think he is perfect for converting to 2B which would be where his bat would profile in the bigs.
