Anyone that produces at a AA or above for an extended amount of time is a legit prospect. Now until he does it for a full year or more then he is just a legit prospect to watch…but I don’t see any reason why he couldn’t be strolling 2B for the Cards at some point next year if he keeps this up.

From a purely statistical perspective, he is starting to look like a very interesting guy — but statistics don’t always tell the whole story in the minors. How does he look in the field? At the plate? What can he be persuaded to chase (that maybe an AA pitcher can’t always throw)? How’s his footwork on the deuce? Has he grown into his body, or is there still physical change going on? As unpalatable as the question is, what’s his probable value in a (choke) trade?
