Also, this may have already been addressed before but can anyone offer any insight as to why our pitchers are giving up so many hits? Can it be attributed to bad defense… or should we just ditch the whole pitch to contact philosophy?

Do any of the writers every accidentally type PAULY SHORE instead of PAUL SHOREY?

I feel like i would do that all the time, as that is how i read it all the time.

Out of steven hill, tony cruz, or bryan anderson, etc…if I see us waisting a million on LaRue as our back-up catcher next year I am going to stab my eyes out. Any of these three could replace his bat right now.

Descalso has been incredible this season, and it’s great to see. I know he was much maligned when he was drafted, but he sure has shown up to play. Nice to have what appears to be a decent bat at 2B in the system.

Kozma seems to have adjusted well. He has a .289/.362/.482 line in 83 June at bats (nearly half of his total at AA). Considering he is the only high school position player from the 2007 draft to have reached AA, those numbers are nice to see.

The brothers seperated at birth BDub255 & Pauly Shore strike again.

Bdub255 is hitting .351 in his last 10 games and now has his average up to .268. Let see him do this all July & August.
