Lots of infield singles on Mort, lots of groundball hits. Aside from the home run, the recap says he pitched a decent game in front of a flat defense–on top of the nice peripherals Jeff points out.
Seeing Brett Wallace lose development time to give Khalil Greene PAs is just disappointing.
Is this furnish’s best game of the year to date?
Springfield took the loss in 13 innings.
Degerman got one out, and gave up 2 bb and 2 hits for Tulsa’s winning run.
The man no one is talking about:
Adron Chambers is putting together a nice year. How’s his defense? I wish his steal percentage was better.
Daley just earned two more years in the minors with that outing.
two more years in the indy’s.
This is off topic, but I remember hoping Shooter Hunt slid to the Cards in the supplemental round last year. Perhaps it’s a good thing he didn’t. What a horrible line he has produced this season:

that’s almost Gary Daley like epicness
Yea, awesome name aside, Hunt had little command in college, and apparently even less so far as a pro…to bad to as he has good stuff
Seems hard to do, but the Cardinal’s affilates had a 1-7 record on the day despite collectively outscoring the opposition by 2 runs
