Kudos to Eager for coming in and preventing the runners from coming in that would have been charged to Kopp, he did his job and he did it well. I think that inning took the life out of him for the next.
FTM was throwing a lefty, off speed stuff, after they figured him out, he was toast.
Great start for David Kopp. Any chance he sees Springfield again by season’s end?
And with the win, Aaron Terry’s G:F dropped under 4.
Again Allen Graig impressive.
Gary Daley’s ERA is now sub-7.00.
C’mon. You wanted to know that.
Don’t know why but per the Quad Cities Times, Gary Daley is getting promoted to Springfield. Don’t know who he is replacing. Mark Diapoules is taking Daley’s spot on the QC roster.
Also Mike Parisi made a rehad appearance for Gulf Coast Cardinals. He started and pitched one inning.
Pretty pathetic effort in by the Springfield club last night. Fick was good, but not really dominant. Kozma’s single was a weak bloop that found a hole… he just looks so uncomfortable at the plate. I am impressed with Henley’s smooth easy swing. The team did not look like they had a lot of fight in them last night.
