u got Norrick’s box score wrong, and its spelled Festus/ also RobertoRydeWagner is right about Isotope Field, balls fly out cuz of the thin air and if u havent been watching the games, Memphis’s outfield has been playing really back compared to normal depth

That completely homegrown article is pretty neat. I don’t understand he he ranks the rays as the 21st best team. A top of the order with Upton, Crawford, Longoria, and Hamilton could match up with anybody’s. And a top of the rotation with Shields, Niemann, and Price isn’t shabby either.

Tom, the recent Memphis have been on the road in Albaquerque (sp), NM. The light air makes this the easiest HR park in the minors. The outbreak of HRs is simply a park effect.

Are starters at aaa (ours and theirs) just tiring at the end of the season? B/c it seems like every game is a 3-4 homer game for memphis, and the opponents have been lighting up a previously talented rotation. Some of the memphis HR may be craig, but I see too many others suddenly going yard to not look for another answer. Maybe the staffs have been picked over by ML clubs with their own tired rotations?

good to see matt carpenter hit a homer…he hasn’t done much(any) of that…if he can add that to his game, he’ll be an interesting prospect for 3rd base
