With no breaks between games, changing cities becomes a logistical issue. Springfield to Bentonville is about a 3 hour bus ride or 1 hour plane ride so they should get in there about 1:30 am. Alb- Memphis is probably a 2.5 hour plane ride if it is a direct flight. If not, they will get in very late for a game the next day. Of course it is basically equal for both teams.
I would like to use this space to inquire about the status of Mark McCormick, one a promising pitching prospect. He has had additional surgery a few weeks ago. What was that about and what does his future look like?
Where did you read about McCormack’s recent surgery? I understand he had another surgery but I thought it was several months ago.
There is no i in team, yet there is an i in Cyrus or Mark McCormick.
by now McCormick has to have had more surgeries than Mulder.

Yes, Mark Mulder is no longer with the Cards. McCormick with an i could still be under minor league contract, on the DL.
McCormack had surgery and is rehabbing in Jupiter per Luhnow on the Maracek show last Sunday. I just don’t know when he had the surgery. Luhnow didn’t make it sound so recent.
I got the information from a friend who got it from McCormick’s mother. But not many details on the fairly recent surgery, which was for “trying to release his capsule” whatever that means. He is rehabbing in Waco. Too many surgeries. His future is not bright but I hope I am wrong.
Carioca, consider a memory trick, like no i in team, but there is one in McCormick.
Dan, release the capsule, is probably to do something about scar tissue from earlier operations. His shoulder must be tight and not able to function as it did years ago.
