Around this time of year we always take a breather to recoup. There may be some stray posts that pop up but, likely for the next 2-3 weeks, there will not be a “regular” post.
The Arizona Fall League starts in 19 days (second week in October) and we’ll be back to follow the Cardinal prospects associated with that league. Until then, enjoy the fruits of the farm system that are with the parent club and let’s get ready for some playoff baseball.

Good job this season. Enjoyed the read.
Three reasons for a September call up. 1) to help for the stretch run, 2) to look at and evaluate a player for next year, and 3) a reward for a good season. If nothing else, Craig deserves a reward. On another topic, good to see Narveson pitching well for the Brewers. I always thought the Cards didn’t give him a decent shot in ’07 after Suppan, Marquis, and Weaver all left.
Nice work by all you guys this season. I’m happy you all decided to come through and keep the site going, as it has become a daily essential for me like so many others.
