So, the latest from DJWatch2009 is that he’s now 3-25 with 1 HR, about a half dozen walks, and a couple steals?

The PD pollsters just ranked him as the Cards #6 prospect in Goold’s Top 21.

He’s got like 6 or 7 steals in 7 games.

    6 in 8 games but -0- CS.

DJ appears to be running well again. 7 steals in 8 games with zero CS. Way too early to write DJ off but I certainly see the cause for concern.

Well, that’s cool. 6 steals in 8 games… so pretty much when he’s gotten on base he’s stolen a base (give or take).

Not trying to write the guy off – I’m part of the crowd who hopes he can be an everyday player. I just know that as far as scouts and what not go, there seem to be 2 sides – those that see a very toolsy player who can be a contributing factor everyday, and those that see a guy who’s a 4th or 5th OF-er tops. Right now, I think he’s looking like the latter. But you’re right, it’s too early to tell. Hopefully he settles in and gets a string of hits going.

Daryl having a very nice game today. I think we have seen about the last of Gary Daley – I don’t understand how someone can give up so many runs..
