Not trying to write the guy off - I'm part of the crowd who hopes he can be an everyday player. I just know that as far as scouts and what not go, there seem to be 2 sides - those that see a very toolsy player who can be a contributing factor everyday, and those that see a guy who's a 4th or 5th OF-er tops. Right now, I think he's looking like the latter. But you're right, it's too early to tell. Hopefully he settles in and gets a string of hits going.
