Are you planning to do a piece on Scott Bittle? It seems he may be suffering from the shoulder issue that put so many teams off him in this year’s draft, which is a shame. I really liked the pick but you’ve got to say his pro career is looking like it might be finished before he’s even thrown a pitch…
When I heard he was going to undergo the same procedure as Mulder…well, yeah, the shivers did hit my spine fully and completely. It was a gamble pick because of his health–a 1st/2nd round talent taken in the 4th–and he was signed for a low-slot deal because of his injury, which was known at the time of the draft (just not how serious it was). Seems like a flyer pick that flew away.
