You missed Tommy Pham yesterday because it was raining and he didn’t want to get his new hat all wet. But, tonight he threw rocks at your window until you woke up, just to say hi.

As always during spring training, the stats for the DFR tonight is courtesy of John Vuch.

Josh Kinney gave up 2 runs in his 1 inning.

A whole lot of nothing from the Springfield offense.

    you mean in memphis?

also, i would like to send back this rich hill i ordered. i think it’s broken. can i get a replacement? what does this mean, “as is”?

i like the just one walk from ottavino in an otherwise kinda ugly line.

It would be great for BA to have a breakout season ANYWHERE. He just needs to play and hit.

  3. The Other Tom says:

What do you guys think Tommy Pham has for breakfast?

I personally had some pham and eggs.

  4. CRay says:

In the Memphis game yesterday, the club faced Johan Santana, at least for some of the innings. He was pitching in a minor-league game to keep from facing the Marlins (??) Wednesday, since he was going to face them opening day. During one inning, Memphis sent 12 men (I think) to the plate and scored a number of runs. MLB channel showed a replay of yesterday’s Cards-Mets game last night (from the NY telecast) and the NY crew had a camera at the minor league game, since both Santana and Reyes were there.

  5. Matt says:

Parejo seems to be hitting well this spring. Wasn’t he a big latin-american signing?

  6. Easy says:

Tommy’s my favorite phamberge egg. It really does seem like he’s douing something every day this spring.

  7. Easy says:

    Sorry, that’s doing.

  8. Forsch31 says:

Scott Schneider is a 2009 late rounder it’ll be fun to follow, I think. Him and Matt Carpenter.

  9. cardsfan_28 says:

It will be fun to follow Scott but whether him being a late rounder ischneider here nor there.

I’m sorry, I had to and we can’t let Pham have all the fun.

    Pham The Mhan

Anyone think Deryk Hooker makes the jump to Palm Beach this year?

  12. Andrew says:

In fact Jose Reyes also played for the Mets Minor League team. He doubled off of Ottavino in the first. Rules don’t apply in Minor League Spring training I think. Reyes was allowed an at bat in each of first 5 innings. He was also allowed to be ran for in the first and come back in on defense. It was impressive Memphis scored 7 in an inning against Santana at one point putting together 7 hits in a row.

  13. Grant says:

Pham throwing rocks at my window just isn’t gonna cut it. I’m gonna need him to hold up a boombox like John Cusack in Say Anything.

  14. Wade says:

if only my pc with photoshop on it wasn’t messed up right now, there would already be a pic

  15. Mark G. says:

Lugo dealt to Orioles for player to be named later. Is anyone familiar with the Orioles farm system? We could get a decent prospect in return. I’m guessing the Cards would want a bullpen arm, or maybe a long reliever.

  16. Ryan says:

    @Mark G.:

    Maybe a Kam Mickolio, perhaps?
