@cariocacardinal: Kozma is still fairly young for AA and has been moved quickly through the system... a bit too quick IMO. I could see him making vast improvements in a second year at AA. Hopefully he has come in this year prepared to work on all his faults from last year.

Well, Kozma was at Springfield last year so I’m not sure why he’d make great strides this year due to the coaching staf if he didn’t last year.

I agree about the coaching staff at Springfield. I got to meet all the players and coaches last night at the season ticket holder event. Mr. Martinez is one class person. I think he will do a good job with the kids. Andrew Brown told me he will be playing some third base this year as well as 1b and the outfield. With Curt Smith at 1b this makes since. Ryan Kulik is in the bullpen this year. Hill said he is doing nothing but catching and dh this year. I sure hope Kozma shows me something the year. I was not impress with the fielding and we all know about the fielding. The fact he was voted the best shortshop is the Texas League was a little misleading. There are only 8 teams and most of them player that had been around for awhile. I am also glad Booher is back. He is very good. Baker didn’t even make it through the season last year. Looking forward to the sixth season at Springfield. Home opener is the 15th. GO CARDINALS!!!
