I agree Booher doesn’t diss players (I have never seen it on BA either) and I understood he meant that on any other day Garceau would have not been stretched, but there was no one to put in. Tough decision for Pop. I also agree, Garceau has not been given much run support this season and as good as Kozma’s swing is, his work at ss isn’t (at times).
Bull pen had a stellar day, Additon got in a jam, but no run support. I would imagine they are in a slump, once someone hits, they all will, it’s contagious.

Good point, what pitches does he use for success? FB, change up, slider cb, anyone know? Perhaps he is still in learning mode for additional pitches.

I get it. Casey is a relatively new pitcher, pitching in a league where the strike zone is bigger, the hitters less patient. He should get his work in where he is being successful. I know he did well last year in the time they brought him up, different year, same laegue though, smaller sone and more patient hitters. I said before he will not be a closer unless he develops higher velo, he is destined for a late reliever. He is dominating and he should be, he is repeating PB. Maybe that is something they are working on, higher velo with command. We don’t know that.
If the springfield bull pen continues to implode, he will come up quicker, that might mean that someone may lose their job, unless the Memphis BP needs someone due to injury, or in the same case, a release. The season is still early. Hang tight, I am sure that he is.
