My boy, Arquimedes Nieto adjusted his mirrors just right and earned himself a promotion up to AA Springfield today and he appeared in relief as you will see in the holiday DFR.
The system celebrated with a 3-0!

25. St. Louis Cardinals Stetson Allie, RHP/3B, St. Edwards H.S.
I’ve heard the Cardinals are heavy on Allie, although hearing they might take a prep arm with their first pick in consecutive years made my head explode.
I love the KLaw.
For what it’s worth, this guy really loves Stetson Allie.

Per Derrick Goold, Joe Mather and Fernando Salas are optioned to AAA. Evan MacLane and Adam Ottavino are added to the active roster. Evan MacLane is a 40-man addition as well.

A lot of movement in the organization. Best I can tell, Walters and Ottavino up to the Big Club, along with Fernando Salas. Joey Bombs down to Memphis, along with Kulik. Scott Gorgen has hit the DL, while Broderick and Mura will be spending some time with the Springfield 9.
Oh, and Aaron Miles decided to continue to wait for his opportunity with the Big League club.

What a late night for the big club! Offense still is offensive. Unfortunately, there isn’t much help to call on from the farm system. You can’t replace $32 M in payroll in the middle of your order with a fresh to order from Memphis.
