Do we have any position player that could qualify? Jon Jay? I know last year Francisco Samuel got on only because another reliever got hurt and he took his position. Honestly this year Sanchez has been hurt alot of the year. Maybe Reifer deserves it more this year? I would like to see Kopp in there.

Who is going to take part in the Future Game? I think Fick is going to Memphis to be in the bullpen while Kopp will get a start. I hope the changes stick as the pitchers moved have been very successful and deserve a shot at the next level.

Not sure if these are permenant moves but pretty sure to cover double header on wednesday in Memphis. To move up Kopp/Fick you have to move the corresponding pitchers who follow the rotation and down the line. Plus, this might cover those players going to Future Game. I’ll bet Fick gets a start in one game and Kopp another to allow rest and releif.
Not sure if Mulligan is really hurt or they had to make room.
What appears as a promotion may just be temporary to help the system.

Excited to see how Kopp does. I’ve always liked him and he has great stuff. If healthy, I think he can make a case as a big time prospect

@Grant: I actually thought it would be Justin Smith or Hooker. Smith has been lights out out of the bullpen, while Hooker has probably been the best starter not named Schneider.

It looks like Michael Blazek has been promoted to Palm Beach. Kind of a surprising move, as I thought Fornataro, Kelly, or Hooker would be moved up before Blazek.
