I believe Bernie or Strauss talked about the Cardinals having a dilemna with him because he’s such a well liked guy in the clubhouse. I really thought he should have been put on the DL earlier in the year and allowed to rehab in AAA.

He seems to have been effected by the groin strain and hasn’t really been put in too many situations where a positive outcome is likely such as coming out for the 3rd inning on Sunday or having the emergency bullpen start.
