I’ll be going to the Batavia game tonight, if everything goes according to plan. I’m very intrigued to see Nicholas Longmire and see if this power binge is legit. If there are any players any of you are particularly interested in, let me know before 6 pm ET in the thread here and I’ll try to get photos and impressions.

HL, my list is probably the same as yours.
I’ve been curious about Audry Perez ever since KLaw put him on his list of the Cards’ top prospects. I didn’t know if it was a name he pulled out of the air to make his list different, or if he’d heard something from a scout that suggested a potential sleeper. His career SLG is over .500. At 21, playing against former college guys, he’s not too old for the NY-P.
Goold has mentioned Yunier Castillo multiple times. Anyone who can stay in the lineup for an entire season at JC w.o. a single walk just has to be entertaining.
The final guy I wonder about is Joey Bergman, who had otherworldly numbers at College of Charleston as a junior in ’09, but didn’t sign with the Cards. His senior numbers slipped, due to an injury, so I’ll be interested in your impression.
Just give us a full report on Longmire and Perez, HL
HL – My guys of interest are 2010 draftees Longmire, Sanchez and Bergman and 2009 draftee pitcher Dave Kington. Longmire and Sanchez were 2 of my favorite Cards picks after the first few rounds. In fact I made it extremely well known on multiple sites that I loved the Longmire pick. And there is just something about Sanchez that I like. Thanks in advance.
Sanchez intrigues me as well – though he’d intrigues me more if he could return to 3B.
a report on Rosario would be nice. I’ve herad he’s a “tool shed”. I actually thought he’d start at QC this year.
