For example, were they all at QC or Batavia or VSL, etc., together? Were they all scouted by the same guy, or patients of the same medical practice? I don’t know whether the number of cases of drug problems in the Cardinals’ system is unusually high (or low) by MLB standards, but on one level, ANY such cases are too many, and a root-cause analysis would be worth while.

Whatever the answer, it’s a sad end to the dream. I hope Mr. G is able to get his life together.
