Unless you were talking about Matias? I’m disappointed that it has taken this long to verify his age and identity. It was my uderstanding that it was likely just a formality and he’s be in America around the July 2 signing day for the foriegn prospects. Then I heard around August 1st. Well we are in the second week in August and not really any news on him. Patience is a virtue I suppose.

If we can get him into the US and into short-season ball this year he’s a top 100 prospect in baseball IMO, perhaps even top 50. Pretty clear he’s learnt all he’s going to in the DSL.
