Minor League baseball in September. It just feels funny. Although, the nice thing (or awful thing) is that the farm system won more games in 1 night than the Cardinals have won in the last two weeks.

does anyone know what’s going on with Stock in the QC? I’ve noticed Castro logging a lot of time behind the plate with Stock on the bench recently. I haven’t seen anything about him being hurt. I wonder if they are giving up on the Stock at C trial already.

I could be wrong, but I haven’t noticed Castro playing more often. they usually play every other game. Castro played last night so Stock should be starting tonight.

What is the ceiling for Zach Cox? When can we expecting to see him full time in the bigs? 2013?

I wouldn’t be shocked to see him in the majors in the first half of 2011.

With the way the offense has been this year in St Louis, I wouldn’t be shocked either. If he can cut it at the Springfield/Memphis levels right away, it makes no sense to drag out his arrival. The parent club needs offense in the worst way, especially if he can provide it at either third or, possibly, second.
