Well, I know FirstInning has K% and GB%, but it doesn't contain IFFB% or list the number of sacrifice bunts - those are the only two types of infield outs I can think of that it doesn't provide data for.

Sidenote: Anyone know why Shelby's FIP is listed on FirstInning as 2.86 but 2.38 at Fangraphs? I know one of the variables in FIP is the total # of sacrifices induced - perhaps FirstInning doesn't take those into account and Fangraphs does?

Shelby has been fantastic this year, even better than I expected him to be.

Personally, I don't think a 46% groundball rate is anything to sneeze at when you consider his high strikeout rate as well.

Actually, come to think of it, I have a question. Does anyone know of some way to find out what percentage of a pitcher's outs were on the ground, as opposed to the percentage of total balls in play? I wanted to figure up the total percentage of outs Miller recorded in which the ball failed to leave the infield (i.e. K%+GB%), but I don't know of any way to find out the batted ball percentages on outs only. Hmm.

My expectations for Kelly are so low that any positive word on him will be welcome! :)

Really interested in your Rosario impressions. Have heard lots of knocks on his defense. His peripherals are not great but he's been hitting a ton recently.

Look forward to your observations from QC. Good we have Bibona. If he pitched for someone else, he'd be precisely the type of pitcher who'd come up to the majors and shut us down every time--one of those little kryptonite left-handers.!!
