Let’s see, all in ONE edition of the DFR, we have reference to a ” bullet-throwing robot,” a “thick middle,” and a “whole team of women.”

For a moment, I wasn’t sure if I’d come to a minor league baseball site or if I’d fallen into an historical discussion of the Supreme Court’s definition of prurient interest.

Also, it brings me back to the heady days of “Super Baseball 2020″ for SNES where they did in fact have robots pitching. If you pitched them too long, then they actually broke down and couldn’t pitch anymore. And they had a whole team of women and they were the best team in the league.

I miss Super Baseball 2020…

One thing in that article that amused me greatly was KG’s approving description of Shelby’s body type, including the fact that he has a, quote, “thick middle.” Ah, to once again be of an age where a thick middle is a VIRTUE…
