		<description><![CDATA[I&#039;ve seen Brian pitch in spring training this season and I was very impressed with his control and his presence on the mound. As a Nationals fan, I am enthusiastically expecting him to be a pleasant surprise for the Nats and I believe we will be seeing him during the regular season as a starter or in the bullpen.]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[Also in the Rule 5: The Cardinals took Jean Mijares, LHP, New Britain (MIN), in the AAA phase.  Does anyone know anything about him?  No losses in that phase, and no action either way in the AA phase.

I note that also in the AAA phase, Atlanta took somebody named Rowdy Hardy, from Northwest Arkansas.  I&#039;m barely able to type that sentence with a straight face.]]></description>
