Matt Carpenter just led off an inning with a triple. Descalso and Hamilton followed with homers. They’re all future Redbirds, right?

The interesting thing is that they did this to Drew Storen, #10 overall pick in 2009 and a legit MLB pitcher.

I heard rumor that Matthew Adams traveled with the big league club today for the game against the Nationals. Is this a sign that the Cardinals are considering him as an option in the near future and are letting him get acclimated to being around the big league club??
