If there was any doubt as to what the strength of the organization is right now, the last five days of games should have put that to rest. Starting pitching throughout the system, though most prominently in the low minors, is very much the backbone of the Cardinals prospect lists. Sunday was a day of not so great news in the minors. The system went 1-3 with Memphis providing the only win. Also, Quad Cities lost their youngest player and biggest star among the everyday players.

Shelby Miller ALERT!


On a night that saw me watch American Idol for the last time ever, the minor league system got into full swing….with a rain out! 3 games actually were played on the 4 game docket. Shelby Miller once again missed bats, but we will get to that in a bit.
