And they performed comparably at JC last year. I say promote until the hitters catch up with them. I’m not sure the Cards see it that way or not. Siegrist had earned the next promotion to PB in my opinion. If he doesn’t get it, then you have an idea what the Cards think of him.

It’s weird because it looks like he should throw harder because hes big and sturdy at 6’5

He’s still young and has plenty of time to reach the Show. Pressing him to do so ASAP may create a risk of this condition becoming chronic, and that would be baaaaad.

BA called him the #1 prospect in the league, ahead of Rick Ankiel and AJ Burnett.

Fortunately, we traded him to Florida before anyone knew he was actually 35.
