I don’t think its proper to call out the people by name but glance back over the last week to 10 days and it will be clear, but I agree with your assessment on where they stand.

who views hamilton as a “big trade chip”? I don’t think that’s a view I’ve seen very often. I think most anyone who knows much about MiLB knows these are two guys at the weak end of the defensive spectrum who offer bats that are probably going to be average-ish or a tick above in MLB – basically, guys which every team has one or two of in their minor league system.

There is no way that is even in the same zip code as any MLB park let alone most, The power alley is only 360 there at the marker. On their seating chart below you can see how much ground is cut out by the pen out there.

One day is good enough to be called older isn’t it? But that’s not the point, the point is how many view Hamilton as a big trade chip or a replacement for Albert if he leaves but view Brown as basic minor league filler.

Its sad that they count these as Homers in Memphis, its 360 in the alley no telling how short it is to where that landed.

Its crazy how differently these two minor league players are viewed by the fans who follow our minors. Player A who is older and limited to one position while having lower numbers is widely viewed as the better asset and by some a future MLB starter.
