The farm went 2-2 on a night when Springfield provided the only real offensive output, though they did it in a loss. Batavia kicked off the season though it didn’t go well for the Muckdogs.

Why is Javier Avendano relieving?
I’ll second that and why isn’t Bryan Martinez at least on the JC roster.
Interesting that Batavia played Stienstra at 2B. He had an error, but it makes sense to try him at a more valuable position. I’m curious how he ended up at 1B at all, given that his skills (good glove, high-average hitter) profiled better at a non-corner position.
Looks like Cox also had a throwing error, putting him at 8 on the year.
After a crappy day (0-5), Ryan Jackson is still hanging on to relevancy… 97 wRC+ for the season according to FG. He needs to start taking some walks again. Also, I have no idea where to get any defense stats on him. I’m very curious how effective he is at SS.
