Many thanks to James who sends in more photography that shows just why I should stick to watching the players and not trying to snap pictures. Try not to scream like a little girl but there are some legit Shelby Miller pictures after the jump.

Very nice!
I couldn’t help it I still screamed a little.. Great pictures!
Cox doesn’t look quite as … “chunky” as I’d been expecting. I don’t see the “bad body” there. He certainly can’t be compared to Walrus. (Speaking of whom, I see he’s OPS-ing above .800 this year. Even as an Astro, I’d like to see him succeed.)
Shelby _looks_ like a starting pitcher, doesn’t he? He has that robo-pitcher vibe that a good starter has — wind him up and he throws 100 pitches at 93 mph, 2/3 of them for strikes, all very automatic, just emotionlessly mowing ‘em down. This kid is going to be REALLY good.
Thanks for posting these, and thanks to James for taking them. AZ, I still have shots of Memphis (at Albuquerque) to send you. How?
I’m with you…a lot of the draft photos looked like he was a bit more hefty than this picture shows…could be that he lost a decent amount of weight to try and get away from the bad body label. Can anyone confirm?
great great pictures and yes thank you James for sharing and taking them =)
Great pictures–thanks for sharing them!
Is it just me or does Eric Duncan and Chris Swauger have almost identical batting stances? LOL!
Many thanks for the pics….these are much better than my efforts!
Heh. I was just thinking the exact same thing.
