A lot of offense put up by Springfield and the continuing resurgence of DJ Tools provide some of the highlights in tonights DFR. The Florida State League all star game was tonight. Joe Kelly and Edgar Lara represented the Cardinals franchise but the South fell to the North by a score of 5-3. Otherwise, the farm system had an undefeated night with a record of 4-0. Memphis vs. Nashville, 6:05pm: Adam Ottavino Springfield @ NW Arkansas, 7:00pm: Maikel Cleto Palm Beach: No Scheduled Games (FSL All Star Game) Quad Cities vs. Peoria, 7:00pm: Boone Whiting Batavia @ Auburn, 7:05pm: Patrick Daugherty Johnson City begins regular season games on Tuesday, 6/21. The farm went 2-2 on a night when Springfield provided the only real offensive output, though they did it in a loss. Batavia kicked off the season though it didn’t go well for the Muckdogs.
