well, today sucks for prospect watching!
On the bright side, the P-D is reporting that C.J. McElroy will sign today. He should add to an interesting group of prospects in the GCL.
Still got Matt Adams, best position prospect in the system.
Also got the intrigue of whether Cox can continue to turnaround his dismal AA stint.
Actually, based on the last ten games, Cox seems to be turning it around just fine. However, I note that he’s another one like Adams who isn’t walking much. That’s more likely to be a problem going forward for a guy without the massive power that Adams has (and, at the risk of re-opening that wound, I’m not convinced it isn’t a problem for Adams). He didn’t walk much at PB either, so this doesn’t seem to be an isolated phenomenon or small sample size.
