My how Richard Castillo has fallen.
The kid is only 21 y.o. He should have started in PB at the start of the year (my opinion) but his AA line was much better than several, older, more experienced players. He’s struggled at PB this year but he’ll be OK. I’d kind of given up on him after last year but I’ve been impressed how he’s upped his K rate this year.
I’m probably the only one nerdy enough to laugh at this, but does anybody else find it funny that Cornelius is pitching on the day that Rise of the Planet of the Apes is coming out?
I will be at the Springfield game tonigh, watching from the air conditioned suites. Missed Shelby by one day, dang!
