Maikel Cleto takes the bump for Memphis tonight. His walk rate in AAA has gotten a bit unruly including 6 walks in 6 innings during his last start. He’ll look to tamp that down tonight versus the Tucson Padres.

Memphis vs. Tucson, 7:05pm: Maikel Cleto

Springfield vs. Corpus Christi, 7:07pm: Arquimedes Nieto

Palm Beach: No Scheduled Games

Quad Cities vs. Wisconsin, 12:05pm: Drew Benes (Normally Seth Blair’s spot)

Batavia: No Scheduled Games

Johnson City: No Scheduled Games

Obviously Cleto needs to continue working on his control, but considering that he has moved up two levels (3 counting the short stint in St. Louis) I am encouraged that, with a consolidating season next year at AAA, he may actually be a pretty good prospect.

Jim Callis (BA) just reported that Tilson signed. 1.2+ million dollar bonus.
