Matt carpenter doesnt seem to have the hype around him that he did coming out of spring training and after his brief but bad stint in the majors. But it shouldnt be overlooked that he has had a very solid season.

  2. tom s. says:

I think matt’s failure to hit (though not to get on base) in a tiny ML sample size put a damper on enthusiasm. Would love to see him playing regularly after september 1.

Kramer in seinfeld, “the statue” episode

  4. Mrs. TLR says:

26 HRs and 96 RBIs for Nick. Great work! Forever 29.

  5. pitch and hit says:

I feel really bad for Nieto, not sure if he belongs as a starter, especially in AA, he got thrown in due to Shelby’s suspension.

  6. IllinoisCardinalFan says:

28 yr old Tyler Greene seems determined to keep the debate going as to whether he is really a very good AAAA player or whether he deserves another shot with the major league organization.

  7. Jamie Oakley says:

Where has Kolten Wong been lately?

  8. shaneo69 says:

So is Audry Perez or Cutler hurt, or why is Tartamella playing for Springfield?

  9. Jason says:

Does anyone know when Wong will be off the DL? Am heading to Peoria on Friday night and was looking forward to seeing him play.
