Shelby Miller had an aborted start tonight, clearly his worst developmentally since being in the system. We had 20 runs in 1 game and 12 in another.

Quad Cities Hitters: July 29 – 31Posted by azruavatar in Scouting Reports, tags: cody stanley, colin walsh, Kolten Wong, Michael Swinson, nick longmire, Oscar Taveras, Ronnie GilI was really fortunate to see a lot of impressive players over a three day trip to Quad Cities. I’ve had weekend trips before that felt like a total bust but this one was pretty good. The starting pitchers were most impressive, relief pitchers were underwhelming and it is something of a mixed bag for the position prospects. Happy Carlos Martinez Day! Palm Beach was postponed but Springfield played a double to get the system to six games on the night. Let’s get to the specifics. Quad Cities and Johnson City were the only winners on the night. The farm went 2-3 on the night as Springfield was postponed. |
