I too agree re: Kiekhefer. He doesn’t look all that impressive but has some very impressive peripherals. A Loogy sounds about right.

I tend to agree. I only saw him once, and he hit an impressive dinger, but the swing is definitely long.

Unfortunately not. He can handle himself in the league but he won’t live up to his potential until he shortens the swing. When he hits it he hits it very hard but becasue of the length of the swing its usually against very fat pitches so as he advances he’s going to have a harder time.

Does anyone who has seen him play this year feel that Longmire made any progress this season? Thanks for any input.
