    Oscar the Great.

    Looks like Oscar has adjusted

Interesting little blurb on Castellanos who just got pulled from AFL with a strained oblique.

Castellanos was batting .379 with three home runs, 13 runs scored, four stolen bases and a 1.289 OPS in eight games before suffering the injury. Acquired from the Cardinals this summer in exchange for shortstop Rafael Furcal, he’s likely to open the 2012 season at the Double-A level.

    • Hugecardsfan says:

Which is interesting since Castellanos was already playing AAA for us all 2011.

      • Indiana Cardinal says:

Volsn is correct. You are thinking of right handed reliever, Hugo Castellanos, who did pitch for Memphis a couple of years ago.

    • cariocacardinal says:

IF he opens at AA I’d say the Dodgers don’t consider him a prospect. He is already 25. Not much to prove at AA (except lower his K rate).

  4. VolsnCards5 says:

Castellanos was never in AAA for us

  5. Gene says:

    Taveras is in beast mode.

  6. Brian B says:

I say Alex Castellanos will play in Triple A if he’s not called up in spring trading. He has proven himself over and over
Again. They like his potential and he just turned 25. Unfortunately he got injured so they shut him down to avoid any
Further injury. But reports say he’ll be fine. I’ll take Chambers over Pham. Pham has been injured quite a few times each season. I sau him play in PB two seasons and it was ok not great. Hopefully he gets healthy soon.

What about my Craig….. I told you all he should be playing in the WOrld Series. He’s helping the team win.
Hey Tony keep that feather on it’s doing well.
