  • Ryan Jackson continues to hit with a 2-for-4 effort as DH.
  • Keith Bulter and David Kopp both pitched a scoreless frame. Butler walked 1.

    Butler’s numbers are very intriguing, especially if you throw out his first appearance in the first game of the season (normally wouldn’t do that but he was coming off the layoff from the regular season; he clearly didn’t have it and/or wasn’t ready to pitch and kept walking people).

    I don’t think that any of those three had the defensive skills that Jackson allegedly possesses.
