  • Matt Adams hit a homerun in his only plate appearance.
  • Ryan Jackson was 1-for-4 with a double.
  • Oscar Taveras was 1-for-4.
  • Keith Butler got rocked for 3 ER on 4 hits and 1 walk. He retired just one batter.
  • David Kopp allowed 2 runs on 3 hits and 2 walks in 1IP.

    Oscar T. gunned down his third runner of the AFL today; looks like the kid has more than just one “plus tool.” ;)

    Good to Ryan Jackson putting up a solid line in Arizona—with every passing month, his dismal 2009 seems an unfortunate outlier. I’m gonna call him an eventual 2.5-3.5 Win shortstop, and that’s a very worthwhile (and inexpensive) successor to Furcal post-2012.

    I guess Matt Adams came out because he was hurt, since he isn’t on the lineup card for the Rising Stars Game.
